Sigvaris hose are good quality,

"Sigvaris hose are good quality, The only problem I have is just mine. My legs are so short even short isn't short enough for me, unless I buy the closed toed with silicon grips at the top. Also, my legs are swollen just below the knee where the stockings end, even though I've had both knees replaced. Stockings without the silicon grips tend to roll into looking (and feeling) like old-fashioned garters. None of the open-toed stockings seem to come with silicon grips. If I try to place the top of the stockings below the swelling in my knees which cause them to roll, there is too much stocking left between top and ankle that they find several places to bunch together up and down my calf, causing some loss of circulation. Improving circulation is the reason I wear compression hose. I haven't ordered size petite short because medium short is almost too tight around my toes. It's a quandary of my own and no fault of the stockings."

The LL version is definitely long, but quality is great

"My husband's calve length was just at the cut off for Long or Short. He decided to go with long and it bunches at the knee, or have to be folded down about 3 inches over the calve. So, if your not sure go with short. The quality is great and has held up to multiple washings and multi day wearing with NO issues. I am ordering a short pair right now, so he can alternate."
