I have been wearing 30-40mmHg
"I have been wearing 30-40mmHg thigh high compression stockings since 1994. Since the Elegance line is now no longer available, I thought I would try the Sheer and Soft product. Unfortunately, they do not come in a thigh garter style and I am allergic to the silicone band so I went for the pantyhose style. When I received my first pair of Sheer and Soft pantyhose, I thought that they looked far too sheer to be any good. However yesterday, I had to stand in a line up for 4-3/4 hours in order to get my h1n1 flu shot. At the end of that time, my legs and feet were in agony; I was wearing another older kind of stocking. Today, I put on the new Sheer and Soft pantyhose having just received them the previous day. After 1/2 hour, all of the pain in my legs that had kept me up all night disappeared and my feet became very warm. My previous experience with trying pantyhose was that the waistband would cut in and the sheer kind of product did not have enough stretch thus causing the foot part to feel too small, also, they would slide down during the day. The Sheer and Soft product is very comfortable to wear and the waistband as well as the fitting all over the garment is very good indeed. I feel very confident that they will look after my circulation problems. I did notice that they are more difficult to put on and take off than the Elegance line of product; even though I used the high grip type of rubber gloves; especially over the heel."
