These are definitely sheer
"I bought 3 different styles of Juzo open toe, thigh high hose to see what I like best. These are definitely sheer and I if you are wearing skirts and dresses, they will not look like compression hose at all. They look more like knee highs out of the box, but they stretch all the way up to my upper thigh. The compression seems light once I get them past my knee. They don't cover veins very well either due to the sheerness. I probably won't buy them again because I usually wear pants and sheerness is not important to me. My upper thigh fits in the middle of Juzo's size range and the upper band fits well with no rolling. I like the micro silicone dots. They feel better and hold better than the larger dots."
