"For guys with severe edema who want to just have it fixed this would be my suggestion. Like many of you the concept of wearing "Pantyhose" is at best embarrassing. Here are some reasons why I chose this type and brand. The first is cost. Jobst makes a similar product but its 3 or 4 times the price. 2 the sheer material saves you from getting baked in the heat. I've felt cooler with sheers on then off. IF knee highs would have worked I would be using them but I had vein stripping for heart bypass that went below and above the knee so its better with waist highs. Oh and now i have lower aortic blockage which ass to the problem. The last part might me but thigh highs don't look any less odd on a man and the ones I tried all rolled down causing more trouble then what i started with. And nothing is quite as embarrassing as being caught with your pants down readjusting you thigh highs, *and the stickem glue to hold them up is yuck if you ask me. I give them 5 stars for working and not rolling down. If there was some magic way to get them on and off easier I Would give them 6 stars. I'm trying sigvar gloves which helps but I dearly with they had some gizmo that helped get them on and off."

"I have been wearing this brand for about a year now. Using other brands for many years. I'm glad to say they are the best I have ever worn. I am a guy with many leg problem and my doctor wanted me to try surgical support. I was reluctant but did I and have paid over $100.00 dollars for some and wasn't happy. These were the best I ever worn and they are somewhat difficult to get on but I find I don't have to shave my legs as much and they don't bunch at the knees and ankles. I'm now able to stay on my feet longer and now I only have to take 1/2 the pain pill which makes my doctor and I very happy. I do wear them everyday in all the hot whether. Yes they are hot at times but my legs thank me. I recommend these to all who need them. Great pantyhose."
