"The color I chose is soft and natural. It is not going to draw attention. The 30-40 compression is much easier to handle than I expected. Gloves are helpful for gripping and positioning the hose without damaging them. They are very comfortable, supportive and surprisingly cool. The dotted band works well to hold these thigh highs in place. The reinforced toe and heel are of fabric that is strong and silky allowing ample room for the toes and comfort for the heels. Sizing is always tricky. I am tall with skinny legs and feet. My measurements would suggest I need size Med. From experience, I've learned the more generous size Lg. in compression hosiery allows more stretch lengthwise adapting to my long legs and affording adequate toe room. Ames Walker has been "supporting" me now for some years and I them, because they always meet my need at an affordable cost. Thanks to all the designers behind these fine products. What a great example of American capitalism at its best."
