"I'm 5'2" and these stockings were too long. Also, the fabric is too coarse and was irritating my skin. I switched to a more expensive brand which is softer and kinder to my skin. There are thousands of petite people. You need to make more than one size that does not fit all."

Very comfortable

"I have worn Ames Walker for over 10 years now and love the comfort but these are my favorite hose. My legs say thank you when I put them on and they stay put (not the case with all products). I love the open toes on all of the products but some do get too tight and uncomfortable but these aren't uncomfortable at all around the toes. I like the compression feel and ease of getting these compression socks on and off. I would highly recommend this style!"

"I like the wider softer band by my toes and it also does not come all the way to cover half my toes like the others do. The only reason I did not rate it as 5 is because the band started fraying on the bottom of my feet after only wearing a few times."

"Being opaque these have a thicker feel than what I usually use (i.e. sheer) but I've found they are stretchy and soft and feel light when put on. I especially like the wide band around the foot. I've used AW for years and I generally prefer the open toe, but in other styles I find the bands get too tight when sitting too long, like on a long drive. This style is much more comfortable."

NEED open toe that allows for wide feet and messed up toes

"Based on the reviews about these being kind of "short" in the feet I am definitely buying them because I have majors issue w my toes and metatarsals due to wearing closed toe stockings for SO long and the open toes that smashed all my toes and cramped them for years - finally I see a pair that might actually stay in the middle of my foot, great for sandals, socks, and just not cramping my very wide feet! We'll see, ordering now :) Thank you for your reviews!"
