"It works as it should for decompression of lymphatic fluid in the foot and ankle. Recommend/prescribed by my physical therapist for treating my Lymphedema. Feels good to wear, thin enough for wearing with a shoe/slipper/sneaker or boot, but powerful enough to decompress the swelling. Of course as with any fabric product washing is crucial but can sometimes make this a little worn or looser fitting. You will know when it's time to purchase a new one especially if one wears it alone around the house with no shoes/slippers or a sock over it. I had minimal odors as I wore a slightly compressive under sock with mine and kept it clean. Please protect the garment and it's Velcro by rolling the tabs outward to adhere to the garment so that the Velcro is covered and doesn't adhere to anything else in the washing machine. Washing by hand is best."
