"She says the size is right but it’s been too hot to wear pantyhose."
"These provide some Relief for my varicose veins but I will say they don’t come all the way up over the bump and the band is itchy and irritates your skin. I’m only 21 weeks so my bump isn’t very large. Would love it if they made this portion longer. I’m 5’7” and about it 148lbs now at 22 weeks."
"They are very comfortable and just the right compression."
"Good quality, comfortable great compression"
"Compression was great, size too small. Couldn’t fit over my big belly :("
"The waist band keeps rolling down and they tend to creep down my legs and bunch up at the back of the knees. Otherwise they were fairly easy to put on"
"These pantyhose are the best. The support has kept my veins from getting any worse. My legs are comfortable all day. While it is a struggle to put them on, it is well worth the comfort I feel. My legs don’t hurt when I wear these pantyhose. They look normal but are a little hot on hot days but they are well worth the comfort! They keep me warm on winter days. If in doubt, try them and I think you will be glad you did. I am glad I wear them every day!!!!"
"These pantyhose are more like tights when on. The reinforced heels and toes resist runs and the maternity panty is really comfortable. The legs are completely opaque and have no sheen. These would be good in the winter when its cooler. The summer heat might make some people too hot in these. Overall a great product for guys who want durability and comfort in a medical pantyhose/tight."
"First pair had a hole in them, but Ames was incredibly prompt in sending me a new pair. Now that I have my second pair I’m very happy with them! I’m 5’11 so I definitely have to work at stretching them all the way up my legs so the crotch doesn’t sit too low. It would be nice if they were a touch longer in the leg. However, the compression is fantastic! I’m in my first trimester and am already struggling with varicose veins these are definitely a life saver and fit nicely under my jeans. The belly band can feel a little tight so I’m nervous for how it will be when I really start to show."
"This pair of maternity hose was the first I purchased from Ames Walker, and overall it is a good quality support hose with adequate support and reinforced toe. However, I caution those with larger bellies or who are farther along in their pregnancy when buying these maternity hose. The sizing chart does not account for belly circumference. I am 5'0, was 125lb pre-pregnancy (140lb at 28 weeks pregnant), and the medium size fits me perfectly throughout the calf and thigh. There is no slipping or bunching. However the tummy panel is incredibly tight, and the elastic band around the panel cuts into my skin. This hose would be a great option for those petite women who are not as far along in their pregnancy, but overall this size and style does not work for me. I hesitate at getting the large size because 1) I don't know if the belly panel will actually be larger, as there are no measurement guidelines, and 2) the medium fits perfectly for my height; the large may cause bunching. The hose itself is great quality for the price though."
