  • The Ames Walker Six Month Return Policy

    Up to Six Months to Return Items:

    • Any new item that has remained in its original, sealed packaging may now be exchanged for up to six months from the original purchase date.


    • Within 30 days of the original purchase date, a new item in its original, sealed packaging, can be returned for a full refund or for an exchange.

    • Items that have been opened, including items that have been gently worn, can be exchanged within 30 days of the original purchase date. Please make certain that your item is returned in its original packaging, as that is a requirement for us to be able to take back any item.

    There’s No Hidden or Additional Fees!

    • Take a closer look at our competitors’ policies. For returns or exchanges, you will often see additional fees for shipping, processing, or deductions taken from refunds, and sometimes restocking fees. There are no additional fees with our return policy and US standard shipping is always free!

    How to Return US Domestic Orders (see below for International)

    • Please call us at 877-525-7224 for a Return Authorization Number. Getting a Return Authorization Number is required for us to make any return or exchange, but it’s easy to do! Write your Return Authorization Number in the clearly-marked space on the prepaid First Class Return Label that was included with your original order and affix it to the returning package. Lastly, Drop off the package at any post office or leave it for your mail carrier and return your order to us free of charge. If you are exchanging an item, your outgoing order will be shipped free within the US as well.

    • A gently worn item can be exchanged within 30 days of their original purchase date but worn items need to be laundered before returning to us. Please remember that we cannot accept any item that it is not in its original packaging. Tried-on shoes can be exchanged if in new condition only.

    • Exchanges are typically shipped once we receive your returned package, but if you don’t have time to wait on the exchange, just let our Customer Service Representative know you need the new product in a hurry. Then you may place your new order immediately and you will be credited for the item you are returning once it arrives at our warehouse.

    • You will need your per-paid Return Label that was sent with your original order to qualify for free return shipping. If you have misplaced your Return Label, please Click Here, to print a new one, or mail your returned item to
