I am 6'4" and with long legs and until I found these it was very difficult to find thigh high compression stockings that fit. I have been wearing these Ames Walkers for several weeks now and am very pleased with the way they fit. The quality is great.

Good quality compression hose. Holding up well so far. I like the option to order "Long" which is necessary for tall persons.

Wow. Relief at last. Your stockings greatly reduce my restless and aching legs at night. Probably not suppose to sleep with them on, but it helps. I am grateful for your products. I bought them for sclerotherapy, I haven't done that yet, but am delighted the stocking relieve my leg aches. Thanks.

Superior to the 18-20MM stockings in so many ways. If you suffer from lymph fluid swelling these stockings control the problem. The wider band holds up better and stays in place. The quality is apparent. Getting these stockings on is a challenge at first, but after practice you learn how. The medical weight helped after knee surgery to improve healing. Recommend these items to anyone needing help with lymph circulation issues.

I wear these to prevent swelling and pain behind my knee after a DVT last year. These are great. It really helped to involve Ames's staff in the selection process (otherwise, there were too many choices and variables to pick, which overwhelmed me). They picked several styles and brands that would work and fit best for my needs. These were the least expensive so I chose them, and I'm very pleased. Previously I'd been winging it with tights (too short for a guy, even the XT size-uncomfortable to have the gusset riding low) and knee-high socks (ended below the level of my DVT, didn't solve the problem). These fit well, come all the way up to the top of my thigh, and stay up. They are also more thick and durable-preferable as I need them to last and am not concerned with sheerness. They are also heavy enough that I can pull them up by hand if needed without tearing them. I also really like the open toe as my toes would get squished with closed toe tights. These are a winner!

I just bought my first pair of AW medical weight thigh highs open toes. They are very durable and great quality. The open toe is much more comfortable than the closed toe. The lace dot band stays up well but it does show under pants and I am a small person. But, you cannot beat the quality and price. I highly recommend.

I bought these for support during my long work hours on concrete floors. I needed a full length thigh high hose to prevent that line across the thigh and my thighs needed the full support too. I also didn't want pantyhose that would cut me off at the waist and leave a line there as well. I found several helpful videos on how to best put these on at youtube and use lots of talc powder to help them slide over my skin better and kitchen gloves to keep from creating runs and to grip the hose to really pull, as they need to be. I also purchased the extra-firm ones, but found them too tight. These are far more bearable. They wash well and are nicely priced compared to other brands. Thanks Ames!

I wasn't keen on the idea of wearing long stockings all the time, but he ache in my legs was getting worse and worse. From day one these proved to be the answer. The aching and severe fatigue I had suffered in my legs is simply gone! I don't have experience to compare these stockings to other brands but I have been quite satisfied with their quality. My only wish is that they were available in other colors like black, navy, brown, grey.

I just got these in the mail today, tried them on, and is it possible to be in love with a pair of stockings?? I LOVE THESE!!! The feel is GREAT the length is just what I needed (I have a long inseam), and yes, like the other reviewer said, it does leave a slight bump at the back/top of my leg next to my butt, but I am not a 'toned' person. There is also slight crawl down on the top of the leg, but as I stated I have a long inseam! I am average weight (5'7', 145lb) when I am not pregnant. I needed these because I am 3 1/2 months pregnant with my 3rd child and my veins are popping out already! I bought another product from a different company -footless compression stockings that go over maternity belllies- but they were of a markedly thinner material and just didn't cut it for me: going to the bathroom was quite a chore having to roll down and then slink back up into them! They also pushed down on my belly so much that I had pain at the end of the day, and I spent the better part of the day going to the ladies room to just hike them back up: they slid down inside my pants all day long! I hope more pregnant women see this review and decide to buy YOUR product: so glad I bought 2 pairs! Thank you for being the only company I could find that made these full length compression stockings!!!!!! THANK YOU!!!

This is the best money I ever spent. I paid $30 for my stockings and the price has gone up $1 but I'd gladly pay that for another pair. I originally bought these for vein surgery (VNUS) I had last year, and they were comfortable enough to wear for 2 weeks straight, night and day. I have very long legs and none of the dr office stockings fit me. These do. This year I had knee replacement surgery and couldn't wait to get home to wear my OWN stockings. Hospitals have had budget cuts and the stockings they provide after surgery are SHAMEFUL: too tight, too short, cheaply made. I'll NEVER wear any compression hose again that I haven't bought from AmesWalker. I've bought several pairs of various stockings from AmesWalker: thigh highs, panty hose, knee highs, dress socks, and I love every one of them. I wear at least one pair once or twice a week. With proper care, they really last! The customer service and delivery time is excellent. THANK YOU for being a valued resource!!

While my legs did feel better at the end of the day and these stayed up pretty well, it was very difficult to dig through all of my pants to find loose enough ones that would be the least conspicuous. I'm going to have to go with the full pantyhose, footless to not have this odd looking line on my upper legs.
