Finally! The perfect fit!! According to your sizing charts, I should wear an XL - but the 3 pair I bought were outrageously too big and are in the drawer with 3 year's worth of failed compression socks. As a precaution, I bought only 1 pair of the L and they, too, were much too big. Finally, after week's worth of grocery money wasted, the medium fits just right and I have ordered 3 more pair. It has taken me several years to find the right sock and I will continue to purchase this one for years to come. But Ames Walker really needs to check and update their sizing recommendations on this product.

Love the support socks. The reason for 3 stars is the foot material-it is too thin and doesn't wear well. I start getting holes after only 2 -3 weeks wear

I like the size small vs medium as they don't ride as far up which is uncomfortable around the knee. Also, the smaller size doesn't have all the toe ballooning.

Have enjoyed the sheer socks for summer and wanted a heavier weight trouser sock for the winter. These are a great fit with a bit of warmth. I will definitely get more of these for winter wear.

I like the unisex style 111, cotton, over the calf, socks. I use to wear the 20-30 mmHg but I noticed my legs would ache at the back of my knees. I eventually came to the conclusion that just "maybe" the compression was too strong resulting in cutting down circulation. I decided to try the 15-20mmHg and found they feel just fine. No more aching in the back of my knees! I have no idea why I didn't think of the 15-20mmHg compression sooner!! Anyway, am delighted with the lesser compression socks.
